Kupoli’s iconic dome draws inspiration from the Paris Pantheon, a symbol of knowledge and faith.
But this stunning tower had a very practical purpose — it housed the chimney of the New Student House’s original power plant. This power plant was among Helsinki’s first to provide central heating and electricity, making the building a true pioneer of modern comfort.
